Senior Week 12

This week I continued getting ready to print my snowboard hanger. I furthered my research of drywall anchors and learned about the different types, including heavy duty one which are what i am going to have to use due to the weight of the snowboard and hangers. I also figured out that I would need a heavy duty anchor to mount my snowboard and hangers because of their weight. I found what kind I was going to have to order and looked at the dimensions because I was going to have to change the hole sizes on the hanger to fit this. I had the holes at M3 as a placeholder before figuring out what size I needed them to be, so I went in and changed them to 0.125 inches.

Next, I started sketching out my idea to add an extra support under the hanger and started thinking of how I would add this to my design. I was unsure of whether I wanted to leave it hanging by itself (as shown in the picture) or attach it to the bottom of the hanger at first,

but I decided it would likely be better to attach it as this would provide more support.
