This week I continued working on the snowboard hanger project. At the end of last week I started looking for ways to reduce the material in my design after stress testing it and realizing that I could reduce the amount of material used significantly. This week I continued working on testing the snowboard hanger. Last week I did the first stress tests on it and they came back with great results. The results said that I would be able to take away some material while still keeping the hanger stable enough to support the weight I needed it to. I finished this pretty quick and added some new changes to it while I was designing it such as a filet on the bottom that I thought made it look better and would possibly add some support. I realized that there were only two screw holes on the hanger. I did not think that this would be enough to support the weight of the snowboard so I added two more beneath it. I went into Inkscape at the end of last week and put the pieces to my stool on the two sizes that Mr. L suggested which were 4x4 and 4x8.
