This week I continued working on testing the snowboard hanger. Last week I did the first stress tests on it and they came back with great results. The results said that I would be able to take away some material while still keeping the hanger stable enough to support the weight I needed it to.
This week I started looking for ways to reduce the materials used. My first idea was to remove the top support on the hanger. I did this on Monday and was able to test the design on Tuesday. The results came back good again and it said that it would be able to support the weight I needed it to.

Next I decided that it might be a good idea to make it shorter and not go out as long. I thought that this would give it less chance of snapping when weight was put on it since it would be closer to the wall and I did not need it to be that long.
