Senior Week 16

This week I continued working on my snowboard hanger and figuring out how to hang it. Before break I had figured out what kind of drywall anchor I would need to use to be able to hold the snowboard but this week I made some changes to my design to accommodate that.

I found a toggle lock on home depot that would work well. I would need eight for my design and they sell them in packs of ten so it will be perfect. I changed the holes on my design and realized that I should check to see if the drywall anchors themselves would touch behind the hanger. I looked up the dimensions of the anchors and screws and added a circle around the screw hole to see if they would touch.

The circles did end up being very close to one another so I had to move the screw holes apart a little bit and now they seem to be all set. Once I was done with that I moved on to preparing to print the first half. Euan helped show me what file to use on Thursday and I made it. I plan to hopefully print the first half on Friday and if it comes out good I will print the second half next week.
