Senior Week 17

This week I focused on making progress on both my snowboard hanger and stool projects. Last week I finished by snowboard hanger and made the files to 3d print it. This week I planned on 3d printing it. The first couple of days the 3d printer was taken so I focused on getting ready for my stool project.

When I finished up the stool project and went to order the wood there were some issues and it ended up being sold out after I had already ordered it. I checked back in and it is back in stock so I took the measurements and checked to see if the parts I was going to need to print out would fit on the piece of wood. At first I found a smaller piece of wood which did fit the pieces but once I saw that the original piece was back in stock I tested that and the pieces fit perfectly and there is space for more projects once I am done.

On Thursday, I was able to start printing the snowboard hanger. I printed just one of the hangers to make sure that it came out well and would work. Once it finished printing, I took it back, and it seems like it will work great! It seems very sturdy and should be able to hold the snowboard with no problems. I plan on printing the second half next week while I move my focus back to the stool project.
