Senior Week 2

This week I started by looking for new projects. I searched around on GrabCad for a while not able to find anything, but eventually I came up with the idea of routing a stool. I looked up a few examples to see how I could do this and got some ideas before talking to Mr. L about it. Mr. L cleared the idea and said that it would be okay for me to route the project.

While I was talking to Mr. L, he told be about sniglets which are small indents that you have to make when routing. I watched a video that he had posted as a tutorial on how to make sniglets and made a practice design of my stool using the sniglets.

After practicing with the sniglets, I went on to make a few designs. I made some with four legs, then started working on one with two solid legs. The one with two solid legs took a while to design. it took a while to figure out how I was going to put the two legs together, but it ended up being much simpler than I had thought. there were also lots of sniglets that I had to make which took a while.
