Senior Week 20

This week I started looking for small projects to work on while I was waiting for the wood for my stool project. Last week I finished up the snowboard hanger project so I started looking for new ideas this week. I realized that my moms birthday is next week and decided to make a gift for her.

I spent Wednesday trying to figure out what I should make her then on Thursday I decided to make her a card. I wanted to add pictures of things she likes so I spent a while figuring out how to do that I was able to add a disco ball. I also spent a while trying to figure out how I was going to build and assemble the card. I thought that it would look good on acrylic so I planned on making it out of acrylic and gluing or taping paper to the inside to write on. I also needed to think of a way to connect the front and back pieces made out of acrylic so after some thinking I came up with an idea to put holes in the front and back and use string to connect the two shown below.
