Senior Week 8

This week I started looking for wood to order for my stool project. Mr. L had already told me what kind of wood I should look for and the sizes I would likely need. I went into Inkscape at the end of last week and put the pieces to my stool on the two sizes that Mr. L suggested which were 4x4 and 4x8. It turns out that the parts would fit perfectly on a 4x4 sheet so that was what I was looking for.

At the start of this week I started looking for the best wood to use. At first most of the listings were much more expensive than I expected so I kept looking. Unfortunately, I had the day off of school on Wednesday for C3 day where I toured Endicott college, taking away shop time.

Fortunately when I kept looking I found better pieces of wood that fit the description of what I needed and were in a more reasonable price point. I have picked out a few of the best options listed below but will talk with Mr. L soon to make sure they are going to work.
