Week 1

This week I worked on my first project which is a watch stand. I spent a while tweaking the design in CAD. Eventually when I was happy with the design I moved it into Inkscape in order to laser cut it. I then laser cut three layers for the base and held them together with m3 screws.

The circle standing up out of the design is to wrap a watch around. The indent to the right is a tray to keep small items. The design is going to be held together by screws in all four corners.
