This week I continued working on my guitar stand. I first made some small tweaks and changes to the design of the stand that I thought would help increase its stability.
After that I ended up getting all of the parts cut out in wood. This took me some trial and error working with different settings on the laser cutter, but after some help from my classmates I was able to figure out the settings and get my parts cut out. Unfortunately I needed to do a few runs on the cuts causing the wood to burn a small bit as you can see in the image below. To fix this I plan on staining or painting the pieces soon before gluing them.
