Week 17

This week, I started by finishing up my guitar stand project. I cleaned off some of the parts that got dirty and burnt from the laser cutter, then glued it together, and it looks great. I brought the stand home, and it works with my guitars perfectly. Next, I started looking for a new project to work on. After looking around places like Grabcad to get ideas, I settled on making a picture frame for a print I have had sitting in my room. I started designing it on Wednesday, just trying to figure out how I wanted to make it as well as how I would hang it on my wall. I went through a few designs and different measurements, trying to ensure that the print would fit. I have also been looking for a way to hang the frame but I have been able to come up with some designs while I am trying to figure out a solution. Below to the left is the newest design, and to the right is the first design I came up with.
