I started this week by making a few more changes to my frame project. I looked through the different types of bolts to see what would fit my project the best length-wise. Originally, I was using M3 bolts but I realized that they were too short and unfortunately would only work with the cardboard because it was able to compact unlike the wood as you can see in the image below. I looked through the different sized bolts to see what had the best-fitting length for a while and ended up settling on the M3.5. These fit much better than the M3s which I was very happy with because I did would not have been able to hold together the wood with the M3s.

During the second part of the week I wanted to start laser cutting my project in wood, but unfortunately ran into some issues. It turns out that my frame is too large for the pieces of wood that fit in the small laser cutter. This meant that I would have to start laser cutting once we get back from break and the big laser cutter is fixed. Once I found this out, I decided to start looking for a small project to work on in the meantime online. I looked through places like GrabCad but so far nothing has stuck out to me. Once we get back from break I hope to cut my frame and find a new project to work on.
