This week I continued working on my model car hanger project. At the end of last week I was able to get a test of the hook part printed out. I tested it this week on monday and it works perfectly. It is the perfect size for the wheels of the car and they do not come out easily. Once I tested that I moved on to redesigning the back piece of the hanger.

The wheel fits perfectly in the hook.

Mr. L had previously suggested that instead of having a straight rectangular piece connecting the two hooks, I rather have a curved piece. I did this and spent a while trying to figure out how long I wanted to make it so that it would fit the car well. I ended up measuring the car and it is 3 inches wide. I made the hanger three inches wide as well and the hooks are wide enough to allow for room when hanging it up. I am going to print a test of the back piece to make sure it will work well and then move onto printing out the entire hanger likely at some point next week.
